Yury Aleksandrovich Dud (Russian: Ю́рий Алекса́ндрович Дудь; born 11 October 1986) is a Russian sports journalist, who also runs an unrelated YouTube channel vDud where he interviews famous figures from CIS region.
Kolyma (Russian: Колыма́, IPA: [kəɫɨˈma]) is a region located in the Russian Far East. It is bounded by the East Siberian Sea and the Arctic Ocean in the north and the Sea of Okhotsk to the south.
Prisoners were being drawn into the Soviet penal system in large numbers during the initial period of Kolyma's development, most notably from the so-called anti-Kulak campaign and the government's internal war to force collectivization on the USSR's peasantry. These prisoners formed a readily available workforce.
